Matt Morrissette

Matt offers more than 18 years of experience as a Lean Master Black Belt, industrial engineer, trainer, change agent and management consultant helping small to large hospitals and Fortune 25 to 1000 manufacturing corporations.

Matt’s “Lean Thinking” pedigree stems from Freudenberg-NOK, Toyota Motor Corporation, Motorola and a vast array of businesses that have successfully forged through continuous improvement initiatives.  Since 2001, Matt has also helped more than 100 hospitals transform their business utilizing Lean Healthcare and Six Sigma tools and techniques.


Accomplishments:
• Cumulative cost savings amounting to nearly $35 million dollars
• Worked with more than 100 corporations across North America and Western Europe and 100 hospitals in the US and Canada.
• Trained nearly 3,500 employee’s in Lean Healthcare, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, quality and performance improvement
• Performed over 400 Lean Kaizen events that total over $15 million in cost savings
• Managed over 75 industrial projects including outsourcing, new equipment installs & logistics, plant consolidation, ERP/IT Systems Implementations and commercial design-build construction saving $100,000 to $2 million dollars on each project.
• Designed over 35 manufacturing/hospital facilities ranging from 1,000 to 1 million square feet
• In 2004, Matt created the first Lean Healthcare simulation product "Lean E.D.". Lean E.D. is the only Lean Healthcare simulation product sold on the market that contains 100% reference to hospitals. Robert’s passion and expertise is in problem solving the most challenging situations of any type process including transactional, service, quality, manufacturing or the front and back office. He is one that enjoys forging through unknown territory utilizing basic and advanced tools of lean, quality and project management. 

Robert helps hospitals and manufacturers conduct business assessments, engineers current state processes and he provides "Lean" advice for capacity, growth and efficiency.

For more than five years, clients have appreciated the spectrum of his expertise from shop floor operations management, hospital kaizen facilitation, business value stream mapping, facility design and optimization to Lean-Sigma transformations. Brian Whitehouse: Six Sigma Master Black Belt

Brian Whitehouse:  6 Sigma MBB

A Master Black Belt with more than 20 years experience in quality and performance of businesses, processes and products.  He is the quintessential improvement Marine to take with you in any battlefield.  He has extensive  experience in automotive, electronics, metal stampings, and plastics industries.  Brian has inordinate knowledge and a breadth of experiences in six sigma, lean manufacturing, quality engineering, manufacturing management, and ISO/QS9000 quality systems.

 Some specific examples of his experience:

  • Certified over 450 green and black belts in six sigma training and projects.

  • Managed 7 product line supervisors responsible for over 400 hourly union employees, 2 schedulers, and 2 expediters for seven distinct product lines serving the Automotive Industry.

Mike Jenkins: Industrial Engineering & Facility Design

Mike Jenkins

Mike brings with him a breadth of industrial engineering and consulting experience that provide clients with swift and decisive analysis, designs, solutions and implementation. 

Mike helps clients in difficult expansion, flow and process design challenges by providing lean manufacturing perspectives or capacity growth and flexibility decisions. Clients appreciate the spectrum of his expertise from shop floor operations management to executive team facility and design advice.

There is another professional side of Mike with a passion for user interface product designs and human factor engineering that give clients a broad array of human and technical expertise. Mikes latest work with Boston area hospitals has helped the human side of Emergency Medicine with patient feedback systems.

Mike joined us after spending time with the engineering divisions of General Dynamics and Microsoft Corporation. He has worked for fortune 100 companies and various industries from retail distribution to medical device to industrial consumables. back to top

Melissa Churchard-Hannon: Team & Leadership Development

Melissa Churchard-Hannon

Melissa began working as a consultant in 1994.  Prior to working with corporate clients, Melissa’s work in leadership development began at Merrowvista Education Center where she worked on their ropes course as an outdoor educator and led groups on biking, canoeing and hiking trips in the White Mountains. 

As a corporate consultant, Melissa’s leadership, team development and strategic implementations have served a broad range of industries from hospitals and healthcare systems to schools and fortune 500 companies. Her forte is working with executives in supporting their transition from tacticians to strategic and influential leaders.

Drew Deresienski: Lean Enterprise Deployment

Drew Deresienski Lean Consultant

Drew has been deploying Lean since 2006. His Lean experience started with a 100 bed hospital in Rhode Island conducting events in Dietary, Facilities and Supply Chain. Drew continued to deploy Lean in Healthcare sweeping through Finance (billing, coding, collections) and the O.R. Today, Drew conducts Kaizen's and helps transform hospitals through training, kaizen's and projects. His strength centers on getting employees and managers to harness improvement and lead them to apply simple solutions that yield lasting results. 

Drew's expertise has evolved through experiences with manufacturing as well.   His skills in process mapping, Lean Kaizen's, data analysis and observation/Gemba studies provide clients with a thorough and collaborative approach that aids in transforming their business.    He has a passion for implementing the latest tools and analysis techniques that make all aspects of an engagement simplified so that ROI and results are the primary focus.

Erik Brown: Management Consultant

Erik Brown Lean Six Sigma Management Consultant

Erik offers over 8 years of experience with small to large corporations in operations improvements, inventory management and leading teams that get empowered and motivated to make lasting change. His unbiased and critical thinking has helped transform his client engagements from good to great. Erik has inordinate specialization in using the spectrum of industrial engineering and Lean-Six Sigma tools that solve critical problems and sustain years of continuous improvement. Since 2003 he has worked in over 15 types of operations from warehousing and transportation, back-office/transaction to service and manufacturing.  

Most recently, Erik played a role of operations manager at a challenging and unique environment. Erik managed the operations of an EcoLodge while directing a diverse workforce, accounting for daily schedule attainment, transforming inventory control policy and exceeding guest quality measures.

Louise offers more than 25 years of experience in developing businesses to world class levels through market branding and image development, core competency and competitive edge facilitation, client retention and increased sales consulting. Louise tailors her expertise to many industries, but has recently been helping hospitals and healthcare providers, manufacturers and Fortune 25 companies to realize their vision of excellence.

Achievement Highlights:

  • Through training grants and LWIB (Local Workforce Investment Boards), established a customer service excellence program to enhance training and retain one of the largest trades related companies in Washington County, Maine. One invaluable instance increased job performance saving 19 jobs and creating 7 new jobs.
